work meeting challenges
Hi reader,

Recently, I joined the Ellevate Network podcast to talk about work meetings.

The inspiration for this talk came from when I was advising a CEO about how to improve the communication flows in his startup. I mapped out the numerous meetings they held throughout the week and asked him which he thought were the most important ones to keep.

He told me: "I don't care! You can just kill all of them!"

Clearly, he voicing his frustration with the amount of time he spent in meetings without getting results or making decisions.

In this podcast, I answer some of the questions that may be on your mind and share practical tips about how to create better meeting cultures.
  • How much time do people spend in meetings?
  • How much money do organizations spend on ineffective meetings?
  • What percentage of employees procrastinate in meetings?
  • How to make meetings more engaging when we're all "Zoomed out"?
  • What are the common mistakes people make in running their meetings?
  • How to use meetings for strategic discussions?
  • Which meetings should be eliminated?
