TTMHN Meeting - Cultural Diversity and Disability
Dear Member,

You are invited to the the first TTMHN meeting of 2022.

The meeting will focus on Cultural Diversity and Disability. 

When: 28 February 2022, 10:00am-12:00pm
Where: via Microsoft Teams

We will have two guest speakers joining us:

Mr. Juma Piripiri:
Juma is the President of  Young Seeds Foundation of Tasmania YSF and  African Communities Council of  Tasmania, ACCT). He has extensive work experience in Alcohol & Drug, Mental Health Services, consulting in Community Capacity Building and NDIS service provision. He is currently working at Launceston General Hospital - Adult Mental Health Services, and has previously worked for United Nations, International Rescue Committee North. He will be speaking about CALD community experiences in Disability and Mental Health Services

Mr. Bob Schnierer:
Bob is currently the Baptcare Community Manager NDIS South/West Tasmania. He has extensive experience in mental health, having worked in the Mindset Foundations Program at Baptcare for 6 years and many years in the Day Support Program, Disability Sector. He will be speaking about the NDIS CALD Strategy (2018-2022) progress report and CALD Disability Support in Tasmania.
 
During the forum, members will share experiences and give feedback on the areas they wish to focus on for 2022 TTMHN meetings.
