A tale I wrote
The most electrifying man in Sports
Entertainment stops to raise an eyebrow,
take the mic to give his rival what for.
He shoots low, easy, a roar from the crowd.
They want to see blood, a precise elbow,
whatever it takes for a one, two, three.
But not yet. He is not ready to go
he must humiliate the guy with ease,
peel back his skin to reveal his guts,
open his heart, stop him before he starts
talking, crumble him down to stuttered buts,
pause, give him some hope then strip him for parts.
The call from Hollywood will come in time.
But right now he is yours and he is mine.
