2021 FRAUD FIGHTERS AWARDS

 

ENTRIES DUE FEBRUARY 28!

The Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program presents Fraud Fighters Awards annually to individuals who make exemplary contributions to help stamp out fraud in the commonwealth. 

To be considered for a Fraud Fighters Award nominees must be a member of an insurance company’s fraud investigation unit, a commonwealth’s attorney or a member of Virginia’s law enforcement community. Nominee’s contribution to preventing and stamping out fraud in Virginia may be in the areas of property, casualty or workers’ compensation line of insurance. 

Nominees should be able to demonstrate above average, significant efforts in three of the following areas: 

  • Involvement and contributions to investigations 
  • Pro-active prevention activities 
  • Enforcement 
  • Interaction with the insurance community 
  • Financial impact (recoveries/restitution) 

Awards will be presented at the VA IASIU Annual Seminar, to Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Double Tree by Hilton, 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23235. 

Please go to stampoutfraud.com/2022-awards and fill out the nomination form describing the Nominee's service contributions to the Virginia Insurance Industry's insurance fraud prevention efforts from March 1, 2021 - March 1, 2022. Please be as specific as possible. Entries that do not provide specific details of the nominee's involvement in anti-insurance fraud efforts will not be eligible for an award. 

Nominations are due by February 28, 2022.
