Did You Know This?
A wonderful little video explaining the structure of the Episcopal Church and what membership means. This is timely information to revisit as we approach our annual parish meeting this Sunday.
Use the Virtual Worship link below to join the meeting

Where do you meet God at Epiphany?

"I don’t know if I “meet” God or find him through the church, but I do feel closer to God when I sing with the choir.

We have so many talented individuals in our small humble choir. Many of the members are, or have been, professional singers or musicians.  It would be intimidating if they weren’t such a warm friendly group. They are willing to let me sing with them even though I can’t even read music and have had no formal musical training.

Melissa and Mary Jo are so patient and easy to work with (probably because they’re so used to dealing with unruly school children). They can inspire to bring out the best of all of us.

We often refer to our parish as a family. To me, the choir is my immediate family. The love that we have for one another is truly a gift from God."

-Roger Mattes

You, too, may share where you meet (or feel) God at Epiphany. Hearing about the many ways God is encountered in our church might provide inspiration to someone feeling lost or adrift right now. Will you share your story? Click the button below to open up an email form and add your voice to the collection.

A Verse for Today

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.
- Psalm 51:10

A Voice for Today

The large house in which we live demands that we transform this worldwide neighborhood into a worldwide brotherhood. Together we must learn to live as brothers or together we will be forced to perish as fools.
— Martin Luther King, Jr.

Free COVID Tests Available

You Are Invited into a Lenten Conversation

We Shall All Be Changed: Questions for the Post-Pandemic Church is a series of short essays that encourage conversation, discernment, awareness. If you would like to be part of this conversation during Lent, please let Mother Lou know. A handful of people have already expressed interest in a Zoom gathering. The day and time options are to be determined so there is still time to let your voice be heard.
The book is $9.95 from churchpublishing.org.

(Also available from Amazon for $6.95.)

**Lent begins Wed, March 2nd.
Epiphany Pets Love to Zoom!
This week's Epiphany buddy is Smudge Spangenberg. Preferring to stay off-camera during worship, Smudge is nevertheless a friend of Epiphany. However, it has come to our attention that this cat is a real fan of Morning Prayer with the Dean of Canterbury Cathedral and his cat, Leo. (Possibly we need to add a feline staff position to gain Smudge's allegiance?)
Show us your Zoom buddies! Many of our companion animals attend Zoom worship. Send us your photo along with a brief bit of information at epiphanyscoop@gmail.com.
