Junior High and High School
7th - 11th Grade Girls who are interested in trying out for cheerleader for next school year, signup at break NEXT Monday, January 31!
Tryout information will be handed out at that time.

Timeline for 7th - 12th Grade Cheerleader Tryouts for
2022-2023:
- Monday, January 31: Signups begin. Girls need to see Ms. Mason or Mrs. Massey @ break.
- Friday, February 18: Signed permission slips & $25.00 tryout fees due to the office, Ms. Mason or Mrs. Massey by 3:00pm.
- Thursday, February 24: Girls/Parents meeting regarding tryouts at 5:30pm in the cafeteria.
- Friday, March 4: All girls trying out for cheerleader must be registered for next school year with the financial office.
- March 7 - 10: Mandatory tryout clinics in the gym. High school 3:00 - 4:15. Junior High 4:15 - 5:30.
- Friday, March 11: Tryouts in the gym beginning at 9:00am.

Judges are set and I am getting excited! If you are doing a project, they are due on Tuesday, February 15th by 4:00 in the gym. I will be there to help you set it up!

4th grade string toss for Bible! God working in Joseph’s life looked like this string all tangled up. But God knew what He was doing and he was still the composer of the ball of string! 😄 Thank you Mrs. McCann for coming to our 3rd/4th grade classroom every week for a Bible lesson!

NATIONAL ACT TEST DATES
Test Date - Registration Deadline - Late Registration Deadline
February 12, 2022 - January 12, 2022 - January 21, 2022
April 2, 2022 - March 11, 2022 - March 25, 2022
June 11, 2022 - May 6, 2022 - May 12, 2022
July 16, 2022 - June 17, 2022 - June 24, 2022
ACT School Day Test will be given on March 29, 2022. Email Jennine Wilson at jenninewilson@adamschristian.org with any questions.
The inhouse ACT test for 10th - 12th graders will be given March 29th. The price is $55. The Saturday ACT test now costs $60 so you can save $5. There is a signup sheet in the office. The test must be paid for by February 28th. There is a national ACT test on Saturday, April 2nd. This would be a great opportunity for students to take both tests.
The PreACT 8/9 will be given March 30th. There is no cost to take the PreACT 8/9. All 8th and 9th graders will take the test.
Reminder: All juniors must have 10 service hours (5 community service hours and 5 school service hours) by the end of the school year. All seniors must have 20 service hours (10 community service hours and 10 school service hours) in order to graduate. You can check how many service hours you have in RenWeb. Students receive 5 community service hours for donating blood. Seniors that donate twice during the school year will get a red cord to wear at graduation.

Moms in Prayer will meet in the high school Rm 310 (Coach Spears’ room) Tuesday mornings @ 8:00am - 8:45am while the weather is cool, probably until the end of February. Check out the ACCS Community Group Facebook page and our GroupMe for the most up to date info.
