So much to look forward to in 2022!

Well, here we are in 2022 and what a year it promises to be in the Vale of Pewsey!
Planned for 2022 is the release of our long-distance walking, cycling and riding route - the Pewsey Vale Circular Way.  The launch will take place in March 2022 and details will of course be included in our newsletter and on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - @visitpewseyvale).

Wilton Windmill has the annual Murder Mystery on 18th June and a weekend of events to celebrate its 200 year anniversary over the weekend of 29th to 31st July.  The North Wessex Downs Walking Festival will be on from 11th June to 26th June and we will be organising a number of group walks in the Vale of Pewsey which you will be able to book, so watch this space.

Enjoy getting fit in 2022!
Ashley and her team at WALX Wessex organise the most fabulous walks across the area.  The walks are a lot of fun and generally involve a refreshment stop.  Great for your physical and mental well-being, get booked on to a WALX Wessex walk and enjoy our fabulous countryside.
And now something for the youngsters
The Farm Cookery School has a huge range of classes for all ages, skill levels and tastes, including some new ones for Year 6 children with their Saturday Chefs sessions.
From cannelloni to chocolate bourbon biscuits to fish and chips and more, the courses will create a real interest in cooking, build knowledge and skills whilst being a lot of fun.

North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
The Vale of Pewsey is at the heart of the North Wessex Downs.  We aren't just showing off when we say it's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty!  This national designation recognises the quality of the landscape, the scenic quality, wildness, tranquility, natural heritage and cultural heritage and protects the area as well.
The North Wessex Downs have just launched their new website with lots of information on the area, including walks, history and landscape - click on the image of Alton Barnes White Horse to have a look!

..... Snoopers' Bazaar in Pewsey.  A lovely coffee shop with delicious lunchtime treats and a lifestyle, gifts, furniture and homeware shop - all in one place!  A relaxed cafe atmosphere for eat in or takeaway.  Open Tuesday to Friday from 8.15am to 1.30pm, just by the statue of King Alfred.
