- Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship
- The Japanese Government Scholarship at Waseda University's Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies International Relations Program fully funds Masters and PhD students in the "Building Global Governance Capacity to Achieve SDGs: An Asian-European Inter-regional Training Program" graduate program. The scholarship includes tuition, fees, round-trip airfare and a monthly stipend. Applications due February 2.
- University of Lausanne School of Biology Summer Undergraduate Research Programme
- This fully-funded summer research program in Switzerland allows biological and pre-health students to perform an individual research project in different laboratories in the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne. Applications due January 31.
- Professional Opportunities for Student Workforce to Experience Research (HS-POWER) Program
- Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate Office of University Programs, HS-POWER is open to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in a broad spectrum of homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines as well as DHS mission-relevant research areas. Applications due January 31.
- Humanity in Action Fellowship
- The Humanity in Action Fellowship begins with an intensive three-week educational program in a European country that examines historical and contemporary challenges to human rights, pluralism and equality. After the three weeks, they embark on developing civil society initiatives in their own communities. Applications due February 13.
- Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship
- This fully-funded scholarship program in Ireland explores the impact of effective leaders on social justice movements and conflict resolution efforts around the world. Undergraduate Students of Color from the U.S. are eligible to participate. Applications are due February 14.
- The Office of Education Abroad invites current CCEL Civic Engagement Scholars to apply for the Global Citizenship Program! The Global Citizenship Program is an opportunity for students to enhance their ability to effectively communicate across cultures and develop a greater understanding of and appreciation for different perspectives and experiences than their own. These skills benefit students academically, personally and professionally, and prepare them for career success.
