Matthew 25;
"Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat."

Dear Good People of Grace,

Its has been brought to my attention that City Council of Asheville is bringing forth to vote in private session a proposed ban against feeding the hungry in public spaces in our city. I do not think I need to explain the impact this would have on those that are hungry and the people who desire to be of service to them.

At times, we as Christians are called to speak truth to those in power. Now is simply one of those times. Please consider taking a few minutes of your day and send our Councilmembers an email stating that our call is clear in scripture; we are called to meet people where they are and to feed God's sheep.
Prayers for all who are hungry and all who care for them in these days.
