Aides are still needed in the Attendance & Dean's Office for periods 2 & 3. If you are interested, please stop by their office to pick up a form.
College & Career
Attention Seniors: Some college applications have a March 1st deadline, which is fast approaching. Make sure your supporting documents are in Naviance before February 4th if you need to meet the March 1st college deadline.
Attn Seniors: the Jim Mizener Scholarship application is now open. Jim Mizener worked at DGS for over 50 years and he valued involvement, community, and Mustang Spirit. In memory of Jim, we are proud to offer a minimum of $500 dollar value to assist with post-secondary endeavors to students who exemplify what it means to be a Mustang. Check your email for details how to apply.
Activities
Literary Magazine: Attention all students interested in creative writing.. DGS Resurgence, South's literary magazine, will have their first meeting of second semester on THURSDAY, January 20th in C362. All new members are welcome. We will be deciding on the theme for this year's magazine and selecting poems to be published. No experience necessary.
GERMAN CLUB: Join us today as we try to break out of a virtual escape room. No knowledge of German is required, so feel free to bring a friend. See you after school today in A210.
