We are pleased to announce the provisional programme for our Spring Conference 2022, which we hope will be held 4 to 6 April at Harper Adams University, Newport, Shropshire. Because of current uncertainties, we will make a final decision about whether to proceed with the conference in this form at the end of January. Registration will open around 1 February.
1 February is the start of our membership year. If you pay by cheque it's time to send us a cheque for £30. Or, to save you the trouble of doing this, you could set up a standing order. There is a standing order form on the web site. (Details of where to send the form, or a cheque, are on the second page of the form; our address is also at the bottom of all our newsletters.) If you pay by PayPal, the next subscription will be taken automatically on the anniversary of the date you joined.
Why not join the BAHS?
Membership is very good value: you will receive two issues of Agricultural History Review per year, and two issues of Rural History Today. You will also be supporting all our other activities: these newsletters, our web site, and LIBRAL, our online LIBrary of Rural and Agricultural Literature, which now contains nearly 1000 items. We are entirely dependent on members' subscriptions to continue this work. For membership details see our web site.
If you have already signed up for LIBRAL, clicking on any of the links above will take you to the log in dialogue. If you are already logged in, those links will take you straight to the item in the library. Remember, you can download any item as a PDF by clicking on the PDF icon.
Best wishes
