Dear Soaring Heights Families,

Thank you for your continued dedication to our students' success this year.  Our classrooms are filled with excitement and energy as students are working on strength of character campaigns.  Our middle school students are focusing on perseverance and goals.

Our Robotics Teams continue to demonstrate excellence and ingenuity in their designs and skills at their competitions. We have 10 VEX IQ teams (9 middle and 1 elementary) are competing at Berthoud High School this weekend.  Two middle school VEX EDR teams are competing at Trail Ridge Middle School.  Our excellent Honor Choir students participated in a day-long festival at Niwot High School.  Our Honor Orchestra students will perform on Tuesday evening at Skyline High School.

Our girls basketball will wrap up their season next week and wrestling registration opens.  We are proud of the growth and success of the boys' and girls' basketball teams this year.

Please save the date:  Parent Teacher Conferences are February 8, 9, and 10.  Conferences will be virtual only.  An email with instructions to sign up will be sent out next week.

As always please remember with inclement weather to check our website or the district website for both delayed start schedules and/or virtual learning schedules.  Please send your students to school with appropriate outerwear for cold days and for our younger students, please label coats, hats, and gloves.  Please encourage your students to bring a water bottle to school every day.

We want to acknowledge our parent support and community, specifically our PTO.  Our PTO has written grants for thousands of dollars to support our classrooms, teachers, students, and facilities.  They continuously support staff with lunches, treats and community outreach to business partners.  We are indeed grateful for their time, energy and thought.

Have a wonderful weekend and please reach out with any questions.

Meghan Quirk, Assistant Principal
Krystal Trinkler, Dean of Students
