Businet Annual Conference 9-12 March – update
The Annual conference that is scheduled to be held from 9 to 12 March at the Hilton Hotel in Vilamoura. We are going ahead with hosting the event, based on the current regulations and restrictions in the event destination. We will continue to monitor the situation and should it be necessary we still reserve the right to cancel the event. If that happens the decision will be made in conjunction with the hotel and there will be no hotel cancellation charge. You will be responsible for making travel arrangements that allow for the delicate situation. Businet cannot accept any responsibility for any travel costs should cancellation become necessary.

It will be a little strange at conference because so many people who would normally attend won’t be able to. Some working groups will be missing key persons. It is up to everyone in attendance to make it a memorable event, held in difficult and unchartered times. There will have to be some adjustments to the schedule – possibly there won’t be an aperitif for example. We have to wait for the next guidelines in February to make final decisions on the programme.
Can we ask for your assistance?:
To date just over 70 delegates have registered. We anticipate that there are a significant number of people who will register should permission be granted by the their institution. Normally we have around 5 months to administer the event in advance of preparing the conference booklet and making on-site arrangements. This year we have to the end of the month to prepare the conference handbook – so we need your help.
URGENT please:
Register as soon as possible if you intend to come to the event. www.businet.org.uk/2022-conference-registration
Please let me know immediately if you would like to host a “good practice workshop” - businet@gmx.com
