Dear AIM2Flourish Community,

We would like to take a moment to back on 2021 and celebrate YOU, our community that makes the AIM2Flourish program possible. It was a great year - yes, full of change and struggles too - but also full of growth. We'd like to say thank you and take you back through some of our memorable moments of 2021.

We published 689 innovation stories!

We are thrilled to be growing again in the total number of stories published. In 2021 we published a total of 689 innovation stories that were written by students from 51 schools under the direction of 61 professors.

"It's crazy to think that, as humans, we are so aware of the flaws in the world, yet so blind to the change that is happening around us. This experience has made me see some good in the world, it has helped me realize that sustainable growth is happening and we can easily be apart of it!"

We announced our 2021 Flourish Prizes!

This was our fifth year of Flourish Prizes and we were thrilled to have 77 finalist stories this year and to announce 17 honorees in May 2021.

You can read all seventeen of our Flourish Prize stories on our website.

We interviewed all of our honoree teams!

We were so lucky to be able to interview all seventeen of our 2021 Flourish Prize teams. In each of these short conversations we have the change to not only learn about the business profiled, but also to hear from the students and professors about their experience.

Watch the interviews here.

"Thanks to Kumar because he really inspired me by the simple idea that you can help people in need and also the society and the environment, and so he triggered my interest in start up companies and now I'm helping a wind energy start up."

And we had some really cool people announce our prizes!

Each of our seventeen 2021 Flourish Prize interviews was accompanied by a special guest announcer that announced the Flourish Prize for the business profiled. We are grateful to have some really amazing people announce each of the Prizes.

We celebrated at the Fifth Global Forum (virtually)!

The Fowler Center's Fifth Global Forum for Business as an Agent of World Benefit took place virtually in October 2021. We celebrated by releasing our Flourish Prize interviews and announcement videos during the event. We also had several past Flourish Prize honorees as speakers.

"The AIM2Flourish experience leaves us with the absolute certainty that a better world is possible, through businesses with value and purpose."

Students from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina

We were included in a book!

Dr. David Cooperrider and Audrey Selian released a new edited volume titled "The Business of Building a Better World". AIM2Flourish is discussed in a chapter written by Dr. Ron Fry and Udayan Dhar about a theory for organizing positive impact.

We reached 3,819 published stories total!

By the end of December we had published 3,819 total stories. We are so grateful for everyone involved in helping to support and grow the AIM2Flourish program. We look forward to growing even more in 2022.

And we couldn't have done it without you!!
