Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
(Matthew 28:19-20, NET)
Dear Friends:

The beginning of a new year is always a good time to reflect on mission. Often, I like to remind folks that every follower of Jesus is a missionary, a person with a mission. What is your mission?

Our mission is "Equipping a New Generation," that is, providing training to  churches, schools, and individuals for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. Our missionary assignment is to help you and your church fulfil your mission.

May I share some great news with you? The team at Global University tries to track certain key indicators of mission success. One of those indicators is the number of professions of faith connected to alumni, students, and staff of the organization around the world. In 2021, we received documented professions of faith totaling 21,600! The pandemic has made communication and tracking of this sort very difficult; most likely, many more have made a decision to follow Jesus last year.

Thank you, for making it possible for us to reach and train so many persons in so many places. Through your faithful praying and giving, you have been right there at our side. Thank you!

Please see below for some ministry updates and prayer needs.

To God be the glory!

Prison Ministries
Global University's Prison Ministries provides amazing service, both in the United States and other nations. Almost 700 incarcerated persons made commitments to Jesus in 2021, while an impressive 5,700 active students studied evangelism, Christian Life series, and Christian Service series courses. A Hispanic inmate in a Hong Kong prison studied every course in Spanish!

In several counties, resistance to churches and Bible schools continues to increase. Some national churches and missionary groups are turning to Global University for curriculum and support for their training of lay leaders and ministers. Imagine Bible schools on mobile phones!

Please pray for:

The persecuted churches around the world. Sources report almost 5,000 Christians are martyred annually around the globe.

Global University's ministry partners that have been severely limited by the COVID-19 pandemic, some have been stricken themselves.

Pastors and church leaders in the USA that are "sharpening their tools" through Global University; may the Lord bring fruit to their faithful ministry.
