Prescribed fire in Oregon
Prescribed fire is an age-old tool first used by indigenous peoples, for a variety of reasons from fuels management to favoring desired plant species. Attend the webinar to learn about it's many uses, the benefits and challenges, and examples of its applicaiton in Oregon.
The Master Woodland Manager program will help you gain in-depth skills for tending your forest and provide you with opportunities to share your passion for stewardship with others. MWM training is only offered every 5-8 years and enrollment is limited.

The "Tax Tips for Forest Landowners" publication is intended to assist forest landowners and their tax advisors in preparing their 2021 Federal income tax returns.
The Local Woods Fair, (“Goods from the Woods”) is once again set to coincide with the Linn County Small Woodlands Association Annual Seedling Sale on Feb. 5, 2022, at 8:00 am in the Santiam Room of the Linn County Fairgrounds and Expo Center.
“Women of Forestry: inspiring leadership,” is the theme of the Starker Lecture Series. It focuses on women who act as agents of change within the forestry and forest products sector as well as within their communities.
