I am very sorry to have to tell you that Ken Munro died yesterday in Darenth Valley Hospital. Ken was a past Rear Commodore and very much involved in the building of the toilet block and the West Wing. His wife Jo, Hon Treasurer for many years, was able to visit him whilst he was in hospital. I will keep members informed about the funeral arrangements.
I have also heard that Sheila Davis, wife of Peter who sailed a Dayboat from the Club a good few years ago, died over Christmas. Her funeral is at Thames View Crematorium on February 4th at 12 o'clock and afterwards at the Woodlands in Gravesend. If you intend to go please would you let their daughter, Bridy, on 07720 315138.
