Dear Living Wage Employer,
The Orange County Living Wage team is in the process of filling open seats on our Board of Directors. Our goal is to recruit more living wage employers – and their employees – for our Board. Might you or someone you know be interested in serving our nonprofit in this capacity?
The board meets virtually for one hour per month. As of now, we meet on a Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30, but there is some flexibility with the meeting time. Board members are expected to contribute another couple of hours per month in areas that interest them – such as fundraising, networking with other voluntary living wage certification programs around the country, reviewing applications, mentoring employers aspiring to be certified and raising awareness about our certification program with others, designing/distributing marketing materials, etc.
