Dear GWC Friends & Family,
After much prayerful consideration, consultation, and conversation, the Lord is leading me to lay down our pastoral ministry at Glasgow Wesleyan Church. Due to unforeseen circumstances and the complexity of relationships, there does not appear to be any clear path forward to continue ministering at GWC. I have never been a quitter, but I must submit to the Lord.
I hereby submit my resignation as Senior Pastor effective March 31, 2022. We felt like it would be best to provide a 60-day notice. The District and Local Board will be working together to determine ministry logistics during this time. I will not influence the process of choosing a successor and will assist in training lay leaders in critical areas to ensure a smooth transition.
Change comes with challenges, but there can also be an excitement and anticipation. I strongly encourage everyone to stay connected (or reconnect) at GWC and trust God for the future. Please keep in mind that most of you were already worshipping together LONG before you met the Linick family, and the Lord has brought you through so much together. Continue to trust Him and one another for this next season in the history of Glasgow Wesleyan Church.
We covet your continued prayers for our family and as we seek God’s clear direction for the next season of our lives and ministry. Our faith still holds, and we know that God is faithful. We do cherish our days at GWC, and we are thankful for the privilege we have had to minister in this beautiful part of God’s Kingdom. On behalf of the entire Linick family, thank you for all that you have done to love and appreciate us. We hope and pray that our ministry has been a blessing to the family of God at Glasgow Wesleyan Church, and we will continue to pray for God’s best.
