Hi Members! Just a reminder! We having our first meeting of the year and lunch on Thursday, Feb 3 2022 at the Old Spaghetti Factory and we will be discussing a very important topic near and dear to many of us: Hawai'i Election Integrity. Our guest speaker is Scotty Anderson, who is the head of the Hawai'i Election Commission. He will tell you why he lobbied for three years to make all-mail-in voting a reality, which was signed into law in 2019. This is your chance to ask all your questions and ask about the process of the 2020 election as well as any tweaks that were made to the process for 2022. By the way, Chinese New Year is coming up and we want to wish you all peace and prosperity. How many of you are Tiger which means you were born in 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010? If you are not a Tiger, do you know your Chinese Zodiac Sign? We hope you will join us by wearing red to symbolize good luck for Chinese New year as well as the red wave we'll be ushering in for 2022!
By the way, did you hear the great news? Our very own Jane Au was elected as the President of the Chinese Women's Club of Honolulu! She is a longtime member of the Oahu League of Republican Women and we are so proud to have her leading such an important organization.
