Variety Show
Friday, February 4
Make plans to attend the Westminster Variety Show next Friday in the OMPC sanctuary at 7:00 p.m.  The cost is $5.00 per person with a cap of $25 for immediate family members.  The proceeds from this year’s Variety Show will benefit our mission focus, Nagoya Christian School in Japan.

Junior Parent Meeting
Monday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m. in the Upper School Atrium
We will discuss college advising in the second semester and also how to plan for the summer before senior year and what to expect fall semester of senior year. We will also answer any questions about the Faye Nichols ACT prep course/ upcoming ACT test. Minutes from this meeting will be sent out for those who can't attend.


CTP5 Testing for 7 - 10 Grades
January 31 - February 3
Seventh through tenth grade students will be taking the CTP5 standardized tests January 31 - February 3. Students should be rested and have a healthy breakfast each morning before school. Please help us to ensure that students are on time for testing during these days.

US Parent Volunteers Needed
Parent volunteers are needed to help make the Burns Knight Weekend a success. Opportunities to serve our Upper School Students are listed in the Sign Up Genius here


Burnsfire
Our Burns Knight Bonfire, Burnsfire, will take place after the Variety Show on Friday night, February 4, for seventh through twelfth grade students. Bring your outdoor chairs and blankets.  The Golden Platters will be awarded to the winning Burns Knight Week grades during Burnsfire.

Saturday, February 5 from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m. for ninth through twelfth grade students at Host Homes

BASKETBALL
All Westminster students and faculty get into home basketball games for free.  Masks must be worn inside Samford’s gym.  Tickets for home and away games can be purchased here.
 
Please note that Samford’s Step Sing Competition will be Thursday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m.  This event draws large crowds, and parking places will fill up fast.  If you are planning to attend the basketball games on Thursday evening and/or Saturday morning, please arrive early.
