We may or may not have cried tears of joy when we read this press release on Friday showing that Illinois is leading the Midwest in new business startups, and is among the top ten states nationally. This is what the impact of supporting entrepreneurship and innovation looks like.

We know Innovate Springfield is only one small part of this bigger picture, but we sure are proud to wake up every day in service of the small businesses in the iSPI network and to know that it's working.

Thanks for being here with us and for supporting the local innovation ecosystem!
