Our Winter series is here! In three new workshops, you'll learn a proven process for evaluating your podcast's potential success, audio recording and production techniques to help your podcast sound better, and creating an effective social media strategy.
We're kicking off the series with our founder and CEO Juleyka Lantigua, who will cover tips to testing your podcast idea, before launch day. You're ready to start your podcast. You've got topics, themes, and even ideas for potential guests. Now what? This workshop will go over proven methods to help you determine if your idea is ready and the steps to take to give it the best shot at success.
Next, we're excited to have audio engineer, podcast producer, and founder of the Podcast Audio Lab, Marcus dePaula, join us for a lesson on getting the best sound with the tools you already have. Marcus has decades of experience in audio production and digital media, speaking at various conferences over the years, and launching the Podcast Audio Lab, a series of workshops where he trains podcasters of all levels on how to improve the audio quality of their shows, in addition to his producing and consulting work. In this workshop, he'll demonstrate tips and techniques to help your to podcast sound better while saving you time in post production. He'll talk about mic upgrades, recording in a closet or under a blanket, and what compression and EQ do to make your show sound better.
Finally, I'll be going over steps to get you started with creating an effective social media strategy to market your podcast. You'll leave with a set of action items that can help you reach more listeners, build a passionate and engaged community around your show, and get to know your audience on a new level.
