We have selected 12 community leaders who are dedicated to advancing justice and equity as commissioners. They live and work in urban, suburban, and rural communities across the Bay Area.

The BCLI trains and supports leaders from historically marginalized communities, including low-income people of color, women, and people with disabilities to shape the laws, institutions, and policies that govern our access to transit, land, and housing.
