Good morning, shabbat shalom, and yes, we are sending a message when even my own family tries to lay low from social medial, email, and electronics… there are amazing people and spectacular (in person) events that you do not want to miss! Dr. Greg Silverman will be ushering people into the presence of the King with live, soulful worship today (15 Jan) at 03pm. After that, we will discuss present day miracles during praise report and prayer request time, before digging into the Torah, and listening to a fascinating Sermon. But that's not all folks… James and Robin are hosting a second table read of their Azusa Street Revival themed play (Tongues Afire), directly after the service. If you are charismatic, desire to be part of God’s Army of Artists, or simply want to enjoy pizza while watching the Kingdom grow, be there (or be square). 
 
Other exciting new is grandchildren being born, Rabbi Jonathan accomplishing his cycling goal of 7000 miles, and Tu B’Shivat, which technically begins Sunday, being celebrated with our monthly oneg (potluck) on Saturday 22 January, after our normal service. Please bring a biblically kosher meal to pass, some fruits (extra points if it is exotic), and or any nut inspired dishes. Lastly, casting for Tongues Afire will be on Saturday 29 January, so make sure to pray up, read up, and practice on all things related to the Holy Spirit. We know there is a lot going on with viruses, labor shortages, and cold fronts moving in but if you worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, clean your hands (I use lemon), put on your big boy (or girl) pants, and carry on. You can do this. We believe in you. Don't give up. And seriously, people need you.
