HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to 2022.

We bet you are pumped and ready with your goals and targets for the new year. We are certainly excited about all the impact we are set to make in 2022 and cannot help but reflect on all the beautiful memories and impact we were able to make as a team and in partnership with other organizations to improve cancer care outcomes in Nigeria

Prospective: A Peek into 2022

The Foundation for Cancer Care is set to hold a World Cancer Day Awareness Walk on the 19th of February 2021. This awareness walk, themed "Walk the Talk", will shine the light on cancer prevention and also raise funds to help Nigerians access cancer screening, early cancer diagnosis and treatment.

In 2022, the Foundation intends to reach out to young people in secondary and tertiary institutions through our "Crush Cancer Early Campaign". We also hope to reach more patients with free or subsidized cancer screening and treatment.

MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD CHAIRMAN

Happy new year!

As you may know, cancer is a huge global problem that causes more deaths than HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria combined and unfortunately most of these deaths occur in low and middle income countries like Nigeria.

This year, the Foundation will be channeling its efforts towards avenues to provide care for patients who cannot afford it. Cancer care is extremely specialized and expensive but cancer is not a death sentence.

With proper care, patients can be cured and have their lives prolonged or have the quality of their lives significantly improved.

We appreciate your assistance as you donate and make other contributions to this effort.

Have a lovely 2022.
