NEW MATERIAL FROM THE LSD LIBRARY: TRASH, SEXPOLITATION & PULP.

The low budget dimmer has been turned to ‘noir’ at Carl Williams Rare Books for the latest update to the grindhouse (webshop). The section from LSD 3 called ‘Trash, Sexploitation & Pulp’ is a short, sweet, sticky delight that includes 8 trashy erotic paperbacks with 7 covers by Alain Gourdon (nom d’artiste ‘Aslan’) and four other pulps from the “Sens interdit” collection. As well as, huge pavement cinema hoardings for “Vice Racket”, “Main Street Girls” and “Probation” (the last with with Betty Grable) from the 1930s. The highlight is surely the painting by Earle Bergey illustrated above. It is a cover design for the nourish detective story “Capsules of Doom”, I have blogged it on to my website here.
