There's plenty of free activities continually on offer within Stonnington to keep our community active!

Active Stonnington classes including our popular Yoga in the Park, Yoga via Zoom and Postnatal Fitness for Mums & Bubs classes will be starting back from Monday 31 January! Our team from the Health Club at Harold Holt Swim Centre provide a range of free online classes including circuit, pilates and Zumba, suitable for all ages and abilities! The Engaged team coordinate a variety of indoor, outdoor and online programs designed for people aged 55 years and older, people with disabilities and carers. Did you know the Youth Services team run programs, organise events and provide services to children and young people, aged 12 – 25 years, who live, work or visit Stonnington?

Local Sport
Are you school-aged and a Special Olympics athlete or interested in joining Special Olympics?

Do you want to learn how to play tennis or further develop your tennis skills?
 
Special Olympics are hosting a Junior Tennis Come & Try Day at Gardiner Tennis Club on Sunday 6 February.

Health, Fitness & Aquatics
Come for a swim, stay for the tunes! Prahran Pool Summer Sundays are back for your poolside listening pleasure – with a mix of laid-back soul, funk, jazz and world music.

Join us from 1–5pm on Sunday 23 January, Sunday 6 February and Sunday 13 February.

All ages welcome. Alcohol free event. Normal Pool entry feels apply.

The City of Stonnington invites you to a Healing Ceremony with our Traditional Custodians, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation, to pay respect and acknowledge their living connection to Country, relationship with the land and all living things extending back tens of thousands of years.

New First Time Parent Programs

Are you a new parent? The Maternal and Child Health team are presenting three New First-time Parent Programs commencing in February and March, designed to support, educate and connect first-time parents. Help shape our budget for 2022/23

Community engagement is underway on our budget for 202223, with a new online budget simulation tool to better give people the opportunity to shape our priorities.
