The children and their teachers (always called aunties and uncles) enjoyed a day before Christmas at Hope House. The day was made so special for them as they all enjoyed cakes, sweets drinks and biscuits. It was a real party

Happy times preparing for the Christmas meal
|
|
|
Planting for Hope food hampers enabled poor families in Kititi village to celebrate Christmas. The hampers came packed with staple food such as rice, porridge, beans, sugar, fresh vegetables and fruits and also laundry soap, cooking oil and other special items.
This year the PfHU piggery project, operated by Betty the farm manager, provided pork to the cooperative ladies and their families.

Thanks to the women's cooperative who have worked so hard to grow maize. the children of Cornerstone school can now have a mug of porridge at break time.
|

On 10th January all the children reported back to school. Primary, secondary technical and community polytechnics opened for a 14 week first term
