New Internship Opportunities
Bike & Pedestrian Intern @ Local Motion
Through the Complete Streets Program, Local Motion staff provide technical assistance to municipalities, advocacy groups, schools, and other local, regional and statewide partners working to make Vermont a better place to walk and bike. This internship can be tailored to the intern’s individual areas of interest and expertise, but will center on the 2021 Bike Count project.

Strategy & Business Transformation Intern & National Life
Gain a broad understanding of National Life's business and our current portfolio of strategy and project implementation efforts. Lead projects that solve current business challenges through developing the approach, follow through with analysis and delivering your recommendations to stakeholders. Key qualifications are curiosity about our business, critical thinking, the ability to communicate ideas effectively, and being a self-starter who can learn quickly and synthesize information.

Communications & Social Media Intern @ Rainforest Partnership
We are a non-profit with teams on the ground in Peru and Ecuador. We conserve and restore tropical rainforests by working with indigenous and forest communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature. We're also the founders of World Rainforest Day, a global celebration of rainforests and their guardians. To support this initiative, we're looking for a talented social media manager excited to transform our digital presence.

Human Resources Intern @ ReSOURCE
ReSOURCE’s mission is to meet community and individual needs through (1) education and job skills training, (2) environmental stewardship, and (3) economic opportunities. The Human Resources Intern will complete projects within the HR and Training Department, while gaining real-world experience in the human resources field and nonprofit administration. Tasks for this position with vary depending on department needs, semester and the intern’s interests and abilities.

Interns @ U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy
Internships are available in Senator Leahy’s office in Burlington and his Washington, D.C., Senate personal office. Each intern will be given a variety of tasks, including researching legislative issues, drafting letters and memoranda, attending hearings and briefings, and performing general administrative duties.

NEED HELP FUNDING YOUR SUMMER INTERNSHIP?
UVM Internship Scholarships help students who want to participate in a career-related opportunity but need financial assistance in order to accept an internship. Scholarship funds are intended to help defray costs of living during a summer internship.
