DOCK MOVE LIST POLICY
TVPOA has adopted a new policy regarding the current move list. If you currently have a boat slip but would like to move to a different slip, you will need to complete an application and return it to the Public Works office to be placed on the new list. If you are currently on the move list, this form must be submitted by January 31st to keep your spot. If not submitted by that time, your name will be removed. The policy change was put into place to create a more streamlined process.

Click here for the move list application.

Devine Intervention: Rescuing Mini Horses and Donkeys
Looking for your passion?  Find out how one woman, Angela Devine, turned her family farm in Loudon, and love of horses, into a rescue for miniature horses and donkeys.  First aired in 2021, this story is a good one as you consider New Year’s resolutions, or where you might want to spend your time. It’s just one example of how volunteers can make a difference in the lives of other people or animals.  https://youtu.be/Z-L96St7C5c

The TN House Redistricting Committee and the Public Service Subcommittee for Redistricting are both meeting on January 12, 2022.

Here is the link to the House Meetings for the week of January 10-14. It will take you to the calendar and just select the tab for January 12th. The House Redistricting Committee and the Public Service Subcommittee for Redistricting are both on that afternoon.  https://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/schedule/Default.aspx?type=house&date=1/10/2022

For any House or Senate Committee meetings you can go to the TN General Assembly main page: https://www.capitol.tn.gov/ and then select Committees in the tabs bar. You can then select Senate, House, or Joint. The Senate page is set up a little differently, but you can find additional committees on the right side of their committee page. TELLICO COMMUNITY PLAYERS
Tickets are on sale for the first Tellico Players 2022 production, A Red Plaid Shirt.

The Tellico Community Players' first production of 2022, the comedy A Red Plaid Shirt by Michael Wilmot, will run Thursday, February 17-20 and February 24-28 at the Tellico Community Playhouse, 304 Lakeside Plaza, Loudon. Sue Aukerman is directing this production. The sponsors of the play are Phil and Leanna Geyer.

Reserved seats at $21 are available on the website www.tellicocommunityplavhouse.org. Tickets go on sale on Monday, January 17 at noon.

The play involves two couples, all four of whom have retired. The women seem to have adjusted reasonably well, but the men are lost without their careers, and they are struggling to find themselves. Their wives tell them that, if they can't find themselves, then at least find SOMETHING to do! The play is absolutely hilarious, which is typical of Wilmot's plays, and yet it has depth, meaning, insight, and is a topic we ALL can relate to. The audience will be in stitches throughout the play.

The cast:
Russ Rinehart as Marty
Barbara Kistler-Martin as Deb
Bill Paxson as Fred Baxter
Lisa Silverman as Gladys Baxter

"A Red Plaid Shirt is one of the funniest, wittiest plays I have ever seen" -- Eclect Econ
"A Red Plaid Shirt is a fun comedy with many surprises woven into the play. The relatability and heart of the characters make this look at retirement enjoyable for all ages." -- Broadway World
