GO! Month Continues! 🌍 What to Expect This Sunday

Our GO! Month 2022 continues this Sunday! God's global vision is to see every ethnic group reached with the Good News of Jesus. Though many have received this Good News, over 1/3 of the world still lives without access, having never heard of Jesus.

Join us this Sunday at 9 and 11am this as our global missions partner, Mark Morris of Refugee Memphis, teaches on "Global Vision: The State of the Gospel Worldwide & God's Vision to Finish the Task." Mark is on staff with Union University as the Director for the Community Transformation Program, Memphis College of Urban and Theological Studies. He has also received a Doctor of Ministry and Ph.D from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

"My experience with the Global Mission Cohort is different from any group I’ve been a part of. David and Vicki have opened up their home and lives to invest in people who feel a calling to overseas missions. Through this time we've spent together, I have developed a true community with like-minded individuals and a clearer picture of my role in international missions.

As someone who thought they had global missions all figured out, I was quick to learn that I had only scratched the surface of what life overseas is truly like. David and Vicki dove deep into their lives abroad with us. They shared about challenges they faced as they adjusted to a new culture and the lessons they learned as they worked to see people come to know the Lord. David has taken time to walk alongside me and other guys these past few years. Through countless dinners and coffee meet-ups, he constantly challenges us in our calling and seeks to support us as we move toward the mission field.

My advice for anyone interested in gobal missions is to seek out internationals to befriend. The Lord has placed thousands of internationals right here in Memphis. They could be a neighbor, coworker, or even a person you pass by at the store. The Lord can use these relationships to grow our understanding of different people groups and ignite a passion to see the unreached around the world come to know him."
