A message from the Board

The cricket season is getting closer, and virtually all of our teams have started pre-season training. 2022 is looking like it will be a bumper seasons, where in SCF leagues we will have 5 men's teams, a women's team, one U19 team and 3 U15 teams.

On 26-February we have our AGM. It is your forum. In the AGM, it is you, the members of the club, that decide it's direction and democratically elect people to lead it. Take your opportunity to shape future of the club and participate in the AGM. Materials for the AGM are published on our website.

Take care of yourselves, and join the pre-season training so you are ready for the summer when it arrives.

Covid-19 Restrictions Removed

It was fantastic news to hear that from 9-Februrary all restrictions to prevent the spread of covid-19 are being relaxed. This being said there are still high levels of transmission in the community, though the impact seems to be less.

Within the club we expect everyone to still follow basic common sense rules to prevent the spread of any illness, whether Covid-19 or otherwise:

Stay home from training/matches if you are ill.
Follow good hand hygiene
Don't share water bottles, lip balm, etc
Don't share cricket equipment (gloves, helmets)

Purchase your playing uniform before 15-March-2022

In 2022 playing uniforms for the club are being sold via our club shop at cricketbuiken.se. To order your uniform you simply select what you want to purchase, whether individual clothing items or a bundle, and checkout online.

If you want to order clothing with your name and number printed on them there is an option for personalised clothing. These must be ordered before 15-March to ensure delivery before the start of the season.

The name printed on personalised clothing will be your surname as registered with the club. While the playing number will be a sequential allocation. For those returning members, naturally, you retain your number from the previous season.

It should also be noted that in 2022 we have changed sizing for Women's and Children's clothing, now we are using Swedish sizes as a guide. Read more here.

Lastly, so we know who is ordering, it is critical that the name on the order with cricketbutiken.se is the same name which you are registered in the club. Otherwise they will not be able to match you order with shirt details and you will not get a personalised item of clothing.

A friendly reminder to those that haven't paid their membership and activity fees. Check your junk/spam mail folder if you haven't received an email yet.

Pre-Season Tour to Spain
If you'd like to join a pre-season tour to Spain in April, then email admin@stockholmcricket.se

Held over one weekend, 21st to 25th April, there will be at least 4 T20 games.

Get in shape for the upcoming season and join the fitness group. Held on Sunday nights in Husby.
