I'm always learning....
To that end, I have occasionally been listening to sermons given by Fr. Anderson pastor at a Traditional Latin Mass parish in Portland, OR. They are always insightful, but on 12/8, the stories he told about the Immaculate Conception image (a.k.a. Miraculous Medal image) really struck me. It’s a good lesson on sacramentals and following God’s prompts. After I heard it, I rushed to complete a design of my own, in hopes that God could work through it to bring others closer to Him. If you would like to hear for yourself, check out the link below:
Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sermon
But as I said, I did rush the design a bit, and well- haste does make waste! I forgot an important lesson from my elementary school days. Actually, I recalled the lesson right as I was opening the package from the printer. Did I remember, “i before e, except after c??” Alas, no! There it was, in misspelled English, the word “concieved,” which should be conceived. Lesson learned again!
The Immaculate Conception Sticker- Version I
So, misspellers of the world, untie! If spelling is not your thing, enjoy these discounted stickers while they last. Version II will be correct, and probably re-designed a little too, to make some of the frame elements larger. They are $2.25 each, until they run out! Oh, they also have a clear border.
