Havasupai is the name given to a series of world-famous, spring-fed waterfalls that plunge into beautiful turquoise pools below.
This perennial creek gets its blue-green color from high mineral content. Unlike rivers and streams in many parts of the United States, erosion is not a problem here. Mineral deposits have built thick layers of travertine over the years.
