The Board of Directors is proud to offer scholarships to our members who are unable to afford a trip to Palm Springs. The funding can be used to assist with travel and lodging. All applicants must be members of TNYA in good standing. In order to apply, send us an e-mail HERE!
POOL UPDATES!
Due to a delay in construction, Bedford Armory is closed for an additional week. The team will be welcomed back into this facility during the week of February 14th. Please keep your eye on MindBody for any last minute changes to this status.
TNYA will restart Tuesday and Thursday practices at Sacred Heart during the week of February 28th. We look forward to getting back to our weekly routine as the varsity swimming season comes to a close.
Long Island University has responded to our inquiry. The board has submitted TNYA's preferred practice times to the facility manager. We are awaiting a drafted contract to proceed forward. We expect to add two additional 60 minute workouts at this facility, but this is subject to change.
John Jay has alerted us that they will start re-opening the facility to outside renters in March. Team management is planning on sending an email to the facility in the next few weeks to start contract negotiations. Please note, previously published practice schedules involving John Jay are no longer valid. The team will re-enter negotiations with this location.

COACHES NEEDED!
As you can see from the above, TNYA is doing its best to increase practices throughout the city. However, we will be unable to do so unless we have a robust coaching staff. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching for TNYA -- either on a weekly basis or as a substitute -- please have them reach out to Tom Luchsinger HERE.
We know that finding substitutes for our current coaching staff has been challenging, so we want to thank everyone who has stepped up to fill in for a workout. It does not go unnoticed!
ONE HOUR SWIM AT SACRED HEART!
One Hour Swim will take pace on Saturday, February 26th at Sacred Heart. For those interested in swimming and fundraising, please reach out to our One Hour Swim managers HERE. This year, the proceeds from these efforts will be split between Alliance for Positive Change and your very own Team New York Aquatics!
