Volunteers Needed: Staff Appreciation Lunch 2/24

Our next staff appreciation lunch will be on Thursday, February 24, and this time we want to treat our amazing EMS staff with Italian food. If you can donate items or help with set-up or clean-up, please sign up here.

Please drop off all the items at the EMS front office by 10:30 am on the morning of the 24th. As always, grazie for your help! This event wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful volunteers.

Find Your Fit Webinar: The Emotional Side of the College Process

Parents of middle and high school students are invited to an online conversation, hosted by the LWSF Find Your Fit program, about helping teens navigate this journey.

Parent Chat Webinar: Mental Wellness Across Cultures

WSPTA Enrichment Opportunities

The Washington State PTA (WSPTA) is offering these free student programs:

  • WSPTA Essay Contest (grades K–12) — Students are invited to write about a real-life role model who has had a profound impact on their lives. [details here]
  • WSPTA Game Development Contest (grades 6–12) — Individuals or teams of students are invited to develop either a computer game or a board game. This year's theme is Changing the World. [details here]

The deadline for both contests is Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

February Is Black History Month
