Hi everyone! PTO is continuing to plan Spring events. We've had to make a few changes, so please see below for the current plans.
Thursday, February 10th is our next Family Fun/Restaurant Night. It is scheduled from 5-8pm at Kneaders Bakery at 14455 E Arapahoe Rd, Aurora 80016. Enjoy dinner, baked goods, and shopping in their gift section. Perhaps stock up on some Valentine's Day goodies! Be sure to tell them you are supporting Peakview Elementary.
Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held in-person during the week of Conferences, February 28th - March 4th. We will need volunteers during that week to help with fair sales and clean up, as well as the week before for set up and previews. On Tuesday, March 22nd, we are teaming up with Skate City Aurora for a private skate night that will give back to PTO and our school. From 6-8pm, come skate with us for $7 admission and $3 skate rental (if needed). We will need a minimum of 50 skaters to earn a portion of the sales back! This will be a fun event for our students and families!
We received some feedback on Party at Peakview, which was moved from February 11th to March 11th. Due to Spring Break and a scheduling conflict, we are now planning the 30th anniversary celebration on April 1st. Save the date! We are still in need of a committee to get this event planned and running. A volunteer sign-up will be sent out soon, but you can also email us at peakviewspto@gmail.com to let us know you are interested.
We are currently planning our Fun Run for April 28th. More info to come!
And as a reminder, Peakview's Carnival will be returning on Friday May 13th! More info to come - save the date! We will also need volunteers to plan and run this event. If you are interested, please reach out at peakviewspto@gmail.com.
