Levesque Mega-Trends Article Series in Northern Logger Begins


INRS partner Charlie Levesque has written a 3-part series of articles for the Northern Logger magazine on mega-trends affecting everyone and, more specifically, how they are impacting forestry and the forest products industry in the U.S. and northeast.  The first was released in the January 2022 issue of the magazine and can be found HERE.  The 2nd and third parts will be out in the February and March issues.
 

 

Kingsley Presents on Forest Industry to Farm Credit East
 
On January 20, 2022 Farm Credit East hosted a discussion of lumber markets, pulpwood and biomass, as well as the health of the forest industry supply chain going into 2022. Eric Kingsley, partner in Innovative Natural Resource Solutions LLC, presented his data and perspective on the region’s forest products markets and potential impacts on the economy.  View the webinar HERE

www.northeastforestcarbon.org is the brand new website of the Securing Northeast Forest Carbon Program that INRS' Charlie Levesque is heading up in his role working for the North East State Foresters Association.  The effort, funded through a USDA Forest Service grant, seeks to train thousands in everything forest carbon in an effort to secure forest carbon on working forestlands in the northeast.
