It’s with great sadness that we report having lost a member of our Pleasant Lake family. Gail Williamson passed away on January 26th, surrounded by her husband, Craig, and their children at the Williamson family home on Pleasant Lake after a long battle with cancer.
Gail first visited Pleasant Lake in 1972. She was an avid swimmer, and for the past 50 years, it has been her favorite lake to swim in. Her spirit will always be here.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Craig and the rest of Gail’s family. She wil be missed in the Pleasant Lake community.
Her obituary can be found here:

Native American Prayer
I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on the snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still - in each new dawn.
