Two February Specials

"Awakening," a special for Valentine's Day

Because they opened my heart and awakened my soul, I always offer this special piece of artwork around Valentine’s Day matted with a rich red mat to encircle your feline loves.

“Awakening” is a linoleum block print, 16″ in diameter, printed in water-based ink on handmade white rice paper. I cut the red mat and add a matte black frame for a piece that is 20" x 20".

A meeting of the Girls Club was called in the kitchen because a most purrfect box had appeared, segmented specially to fit each of the girls.

When Basil showed up and said Mariposa had sent him because she was busy and couldn’t make it, we had our doubts. But then I took a look in the next room, and realized that Mariposa had stolen my desk chair and was not leaving, and furthermore was in the middle of a very impawtant bath.

Such is the tail/tale when I bring home a box full of groceries that had been packed into smaller boxes before being packed in the big box, and empty it just in time. Cats have such vivid imaginations.

The results of the meeting seem to have been inconclusive.
