HSBC UK has announced the launch of a £500m Green SME Fund as part of its commitment to support businesses of all sizes to transition and thrive in a low carbon economy.

UK Request for Proposals On Emerging Climate Technology Projects 🌱

Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, led by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, has launched a Request for Proposals to identify and select emerging climate technology projects for project-level financing, as part of a new partnership with the UK Government to mobilize public and private funding in emerging climate technology projects in the UK.

Developing automotive technologies for a net zero future

Businesses registered in the UK can apply for a share of £25 million for late stage research and development projects that help accelerate the UK towards a net zero automotive future, delivered by the Advanced Propulsion Centre.
Automotive Transformation Fund Feasibility Studies: Round 3
📅 Deadline: 9th March | UK

Organisations can apply for a share of up to £10 million for business case feasibility studies to support scaling up the UK’s zero emission automotive supply chain.

Energy

Smart Energy GB in Communities Fund Opens for Applications
📅 Deadline: 12th February | UK

The Smart Energy GB in Communities programme is part of Smart Energy GB’s campaign to inform and inspire people about smart meters and the benefits they can bring.

- Grants of between £15,000 - £25,000 for organisations reaching people who are offline: adults who have no personal internet access anywhere.

- Grants of between £7,500 - £10,000 for organisations reaching people on a low income.
Heat Pump Ready Programme: apply for Stream 2 opportunities

The programme supports the development and demonstration of heat pump technologies and tools, and solutions for optimised deployment of heat pumps.
 
Heat Pump Ready Programme: apply for Stream 1 opportunities
📅 Deadline: 22nd February | UK

This programme supports the deployment of heat pumps through the development and trial of innovative solutions and methodologies for the optimised deployment of domestic heat pumps, at high-density, in the UK.
Grants for Technologies Producing Hydrogen Biomass Now Available

BEIS is providing £5 million in funding to support innovation in hydrogen BECCS (bioenergy with carbon capture and storage) technologies.
