Tuition and students fees for 2022-2023

Tuition and student fees for 2022-2023 were announced in March of this year, and have been updated on our current students website. Estimates for prospective students will be available soon.

Annual tuition for most undergraduate programs is calculated by adding up the cost of each individual class students are registered in.

After registering, students can view their assessed tuition in the Tuition and Fees channel in PAWS within one day after they have registered for classes.

Save-the-date: USask's Open House takes place on Fri. Sept. 23!

Join us this fall for our annual Open House, taking place on Friday, September 23! This year, we'll be back to hosting Open House in-person, along with offering opportunities to join activities online. This annual event is for prospective students who want to explore academic programs and student experiences available at USask.

We will share more information about Open House with you and your students after the summer break. Stay tuned!

Applications for some programs still open

Canadian citizens and permanent residents can still apply for admission to the following colleges for the fall and winter terms:

In the spotlight: College of Arts and Science certificates

Did you know? Students who apply to the College of Arts and Science and want to set themselves apart can also combine a degree with a certificate (or two!). They can choose from more than 30 unique Arts and Science certificate programs that can be completed before, during, or after a degree. In most cases, all of the 15–30 credit units of coursework required for a certificate can also be used to fulfill degree requirements.

Joint admission

Students who do not meet USask's English language proficiency requirement can apply for joint admission to both a degree program and our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. Applications for the 2022 Fall Term are open until July 15, but we encourage students to apply early.

A few U-Start pre-orientation activities remain

U-Start wraps up this week on June 17! New admitted students can still sign up for the last U-Start pre-orientation events that will help them transition more easily to university and learn important information including class registration.

In-person campus tours resume in July

USask's Student Recruitment team and student ambassadors are thrilled to be able to welcome visitors back to our main campus in Saskatoon for in-person campus tours.

Starting in July, in-person tours will be available for both prospective and new, incoming students, along with virtual tours and small group tours, which will continue. Check our tour listings out now to find an upcoming scheduled tour that works for you!
