Migration and Mobility: Creating Positive Change and Fostering Opportunities for Youth and their Communities
Young people in Africa often face limited opportunities to study and work. Some confront political circumstances, social situations or life conditions that compel them to leave their country of origin. They often embark upon dangerous migration journeys misinformed and ill-prepared, putting their lives at risk.
This event will raise awareness on challenges and opportunities around youth, migration and mobility, and will present initiatives enabling young returnees, who are among the most dynamic and active members of a community, to become important actors of change, contributing their skills, experiences, and knowledge to the development of their countries and communities of origin.
