The CRC in Canada has expressed values of Justice and Reconciliation in a history of solidarity work and front-line ministry alongside Indigenous communities. This is imperfect and incomplete work. We have been challenged and convicted by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) to prioritize justice and right relationships and acknowledge that the journey is a sharing of respect, reciprocity and responsibility among Settlers and Indigenous neighbours as treaty-covenant partners. 

In prayerful and resolute collaboration with the Canadian Indigenous Ministry Committee (CIMC), Indigenous Elders, the Justice and Reconciliation Team, and senior leaders of the CRC in Canada, the Senior Leader for Indigenous Justice and Reconciliation will focus on supporting and deepening the CRC Canada’s gospel journey of reconciliation and right relationship.
