RECYCLING

Zones & approximate collection times

Dear Recyclers

Since starting the recycling in Rosebank and Mowbray we have had problems from time to time with bags being opened and a lot of mess before the van arrives. To try and deal with this we have now divided the area into 3 zones. See above.

NB: If you would like to be informed just before the driver arrives in your zone, please join the link below which relates to your address.

RECYCLING BLUE ZONE ONE
RECYCLING YELLOW ZONE TWO
RECYCLING ORANGE ZONE THREE
However, there are many factors which may affect this so please look out for your WhatsApp message on recycling days if you are at home or there is someone who can put your bag/s out at the right time. JOINING THESE GROUPS IS VOLUNTARY.

Please note that these are broadcast groups and no one other than the driver will be able to send messages. The other Recycling WhatsApp groups which I administer are just to remind you when subs are due annually and any other unforeseen major changes which may occur.

Special thanks to Lizaan (the driver) who has agreed to take on this extra task every collection day and to Marlise, Maria and Stefan for all the help in setting up the groups.

Jane

PS if you have not yet paid for the year please do so ASAP. There are still about 40 households we have not heard from.

 NEEDING AN OCCASIONAL CARER:

I have a friend in Pinelands who is looking for an occasional carer for her husband.  He is fine in mind but has Parkinson’s and just needs someone to watch he doesn’t fall.

She would occasionally like to go out for coffee and know he’s safe.

Please contact Anne Johannides on 084 455 4259.
Thank you so much.
