Following the success of Monday's first Queering the Canon concert, we are thrilled to announce the artist lineup for Queering the Canon: Sondheim!

Directed by: Ann James (she/they)

Queering the Canon Band: Kendall Perry (they/them) - Drums, Meghan Rose (she/her) - Guitar/Bass 

The cast includes: Tẹmídayọ Amay (they/them), Brittaney Delsartè Chatman (she/her),  Camille Corinne (they/she),  Charly Dannis (she/her), Alanna Darby (she/her), Liz Davies (she/they), Kristian Espiritu (she/her),  Rena Gavigan (she/her),  Dillon Heape (they/them),  Katie Jay Hopkins (she/her),  Maya Jacobson (she/her),  Morgan Meadows (she/her), Lindsey Augusta Mercer (they/them),  Mary Mondlock (she/her), Artemis Montague (they/them), Achilles Mulkey (he/they),  Lisa Naso (they/she), Liz Neitge (she/her),  Avery Nusbaum (they/she),  Imani Russell (they/them),  Sophie Sagan-Gutherz (they/them), Sushma Saha (pronoun inclusive),  Matti Steriti (they/them),  Nicole Weiss (she/they),  Shai Wolf (they/them).

Songwriters include: é boylan (they/them),  Joanna Burns (she/her),  Rodney Bush (he/him), Amy Engelhardt (she/her),  Molly Horan (she/her), Tova Katz (she/her),  Teresa Lotz (she/they), Jamie Maletz (she/her), Lisa Mongillo (she/her),  Zeniba Now (she/Z),  Will Shishmanian (he/him), and Claire Tran (they/she).  
 

Co-founder Andrea Prestinario (she/her) will executive produce, with casting by Emily Tarquin (they/them). Orchestrations by Stephanie Carlin (she/her), stage management by Taylor Jo Poer (she/her), assistant stage management by Gracelyn Shalaski (she/her), and will take place at Joe’s Pub on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, 9:30pm EST. Creatives for Queering the Canon: Kander & Ebb (March 8, 2022) will be released at a later date. 

All performances in the Queering the Canon series will take place at Joe’s Pub and require proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination AND proof of a booster dose (for those eligible in accordance with CDC guidelines) by the date of attendance for access. Tickets are $25 with a 2 drink or $12 food/beverage minimum and are available here

Queering the Canon Concert Series is made possible in part with funding from NYC Pride Gives Back and public funds from Creative Engagement, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by LMCC.
