Join us for the Spring Faith Festival and Open House on February 26th from 10:00am-12:00pm for tons of fun! This is our HUGE Spring Recruitment Event and will include a Book Fair, the Kindergarten Roundup, an Open House, and some fun activities for the kids. We are always looking for more people to join the Faith Family, so we need your help to make this event a success!
What can you do to help?
1) Plan to BE THERE on February 26th
2) INVITE your friends, family, and anyone in the community
Part of what makes FCS so special is the family-atmosphere. Each one of YOU helps to cultivate that unique dynamic, and that is something we want prospective families to see! We are working hard to make this event something that current and prospective families alike can enjoy, so please invite people to come with you!
Download the flier to share on social media or via email. RSVP and share the event on Facebook. Stop by the office to grab printed fliers to hand out and post around the community.
Every family who attends will receive a raffle ticket for a FREE theme t-shirt or registration fee waiver! There will be a separate drawing for current families and "new to Faith" families. Bring a family that doesn't currently attend Faith and receive an extra raffle ticket!
And don't forget the REFERRAL CASH you receive when a family enrolls and remains at the school for at least 1 semester!

We need BOOKS! Please help us by bringing your book donations to the office ASAP!

We are thrilled to kick off our 25th annual FCS Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, April 9th! We need every family's involvement for this important event. Students are required to bring their own water bottle to school each day. We do not have a drinking fountain available, but students can refill their own water bottle at a water bottle filling station throughout the day.

Parents are invited to browse the projects that will be set up in Memorial Hall after 2:30pm on Thursday, February 10. Projects should then be brought home after school.

We have decided to join our previously scheduled Fine Arts Night on March 4 with our Spring Program taking place on Saturday, April 23rd to celebrate all of the artistic accomplishments of our students K-12th grade. Save the date for this wonderful event filled with art and music featuring our Elementary Spring Musical.

Congratulations to the January Scrip Contest winner, Kristopher Abernathy! Kristopher won a $25 gift card of his choice. To be eligible for February's contest, just purchase at least $100 worth of scrip products during the month. The next physical gift card order will be placed tonight, Monday, Feb 7th. The “I Love to Read” program, sponsored by the Student Leadership Council, started last week! You will use a bookkeeper card to track each 15 minutes of reading that your child completes at home. For every 2 hours of reading your child completes, they will receive a charm for their chain. Happy reading!

Our elementary music classes are already preparing for the Spring Program on Saturday, April 23. The elementary musical is called "The Best Quest", and it is filled with powerful worship songs. The program has several speaking parts and singing parts which will be open to 3rd-6th grade students. There will be auditions this Tuesday the 8th and Thursday the 10th during their recess or music class time.
If your child is interested in auditioning, please fill out the Spring Audition Sheet and turn it in by Monday, February 7th to the school office. If they are auditioning for a singing part, they will need to come prepared with a song to sing for their audition. If auditioning for a speaking part, they will need to come prepared with a poem or monologue to recite by memory.
Please pray with your student about auditioning and committing to a special part (if they are cast). If you have any questions, reach out to Mrs. Moore (amoore@faith-christian.org).
