Happy New Year & Thank you.

2021 ended a little crazy for the children at Shepherd's Arms Children's Home. Super Typhoon Odette swept through Bohol, Philippines, causing extensive damage to the Children's Home. All of the children & carers are safe! Although, the established vegetable garden and small animal farm, were torn apart. The main building had extensive damage on the roof, and the girls sleeping area is unusable due to the many leaks.

Due to the incredible generosity of our supporters who responded to a Disaster Relief campaign, over $15,000 was raised for SACH and many repairs have already been made. The roof on the main building and the playground have been repaired and many leaks fixed. Next steps will be to rebuild the vegetable garden, as well as build new housing for the farm animals.

The children's delayed Christmas celebration (pictured) was enjoyed in January. Thank you again to our supporters who made this happen.
Congratulations & Thank you.

Congratulations again to the winners and a huge thank you to all the people who kindly supported this year's raffle. We are incredibly grateful to profit share in this raffle with Rotary Caboolture. This year our profit was a record $6,400! The funds have already been allocated to our administrative fund AND (being such a profitable year) we were able to use some funds towards the final stage of the Kashekuro Project as well.

All of this couldn't be possible if not for our AMAZING, dedicated volunteers - Jeanette, Tony, Robyn, Judith, Peter, Ursula, Mary, Mark, Rizsa, Kylie, Riana, Jenny, Ron & June - THANK YOU!
So Close.

Thank you to everyone who purchased gift cards & made donations towards our 2021 Christmas Appeal. We are ONLY $2000 away from completing the School Dormitory in Kashekuro, Uganda.

You can help us reach our goal and COMPLETE this project by purchasing any of the Bed or Bedding gift cards (starting from $20) or by making a donation via our website and putting 'Uganda' in the comment section.

Please give whatever you can to this project. We are so close!
Thank you.

A huge thank you to Julie & Tony for assisting with car parking at Australia Zoo over the Christmas/New Year period. There was some wild weather but they still turned up and we are so grateful for the $400 donation for their time.

Tony also held a Birthday Fundraiser on Facebook for his December birthday and raised $190. These funds have been put towards the final stage of our Kashekuro Dormitory Project.

Stephen Bird Photography Fundraiser.

Our incredibly talented committee member, Stephen Bird, has generously put together a fundraiser selling his photography prints. Each month, he will be releasing another image at a special price with profits going to HPI as a donation towards furnishing the school dormitory in Kashekuro, Uganda.

This month's featured image comes from Currimundi Lake, Sunshine Coast, Australia.
A new print will be uploaded at the beginning of each month on our socials and website so be sure to set a reminder, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone's taste.

Please help us spread the word of this fundraiser by sharing our social media and website posts on your local community page and to your friends & family. What a fantastic gift idea for Christmas!
