Events in local sustainability this February
Farm days

We are still working on our winter tasks

We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on
Sunday afternoons at around 2pm

and also on

Wednesday mornings at 10.30

We will continue making paths round the raised beds and putting woodchip down, and will finish making the fence to keep the rabbits from our veg.   We will continue pruning our apple trees and hedges, planting out insect friendly flowers, and getting beds ready for planting.  We will be starting to think about planting vegetables in the polytunnel - the days are drawing out, and the polytunnel will soon be warming up!

The site is large and it is easy to socially distance.  Email us if you'd like to come along.

Railway Orchard
We will meet on
Saturday 5th February at 11am.

The orchard needs a bit of tidying and the apple trees could do with a prune.   Bring secateurs or loppers to prune or to cut brambles. Or just come for a chat!
